Robert Mondavi Private Selection Merlot Red Wine 2011 has a deep ruby color. It offers aromas of ripe cherry, Asian plum, and cranberry with hints of black olive, tea leaf, baking spice, mocha, brown sugar, and sweet oak. The flavors of dark, ripe cherry, marionberry, and plum follow sweet brown sugar, English toffee, and mocha. The finish is soft and lingering. It has aged ten months in French and American oak barrels and bottled at 13.5% alcohol by volume. It pairs well with beef, lamb, veal, grilled wild salmon, or soft cheese. Enjoy!
